With 19 years in the Criminal Justice System, and a defense attorney for 14 years, I'm extremely experienced in defending felony cases. I also have extensive experience prosecuting felonies as well as misdemeanors. Before entering private practice, I spent five years as a prosecutor, with 2 in the misdemeanor division (DUI & domestic violence were our primary offenses), then two years in the general felony division (burglary, robbery, theft, embezzlement, etc.) and the final year in the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Special Prosecution Unit.
